Return & Refund Policy
At Mauricio Avayu Art, we strive to offer you the highest quality products and a satisfying shopping experience. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we have established a clear return and refund policy for your peace of mind.
1. Return Window
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
2. Conditions for Return
For a return to be accepted, the product must meet the following conditions:
- Type Of Returns: We only accept returns by defective or incorrect product shipped. We DO NOT ACCPET satisfaction returns because the product does not meet the customer expectations.
- Original Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it.

Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging, including any tags, bags, or accessories.

Non-Returnable Items:
- Gift cards.
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines).
- Health and personal care items (opened cosmetics, underwear, swimwear, earrings) for hygiene reasons.
- Software, downloadable products, or digital goods.
- Custom or personalized items.
- Sale or final clearance items (unless otherwise specified).
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Email us at sales@mauricioavayu.com with the subject "Return Request - [Order Number]". In your message, please include:
- Your full name.
- Order number.
- Name(s) of the item(s) you wish to return.
- Reason for the return.
- Picture of the item you want to return
- Reason why you want to return
- Return Authorization: Once we receive your request and verify that it meets our conditions, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please do not send items back before receiving our authorization.
- Shipping the Product: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for your return, unless the return is due to our error (defective, incorrect product, etc.). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insuring the package, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.
- Rejected Refunds: If your return does not meet our conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the refund. In this case, we will notify you by email and give you the option to have the product shipped back to you (shipping costs will be at your expense).

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable):
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

5. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@mauricioavayu.com and follow the return process. Once we receive the damaged item, we will send you a new one.
6. Defective or Incorrect Products
If you received a defective or incorrect product, please contact us immediately at sales@mauricioavayu.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Attach clear photographs of the defect or incorrect item. We will cover the shipping costs for the return and replacement in these cases.
7. Gifts
- If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
